Ever since Anurag Basu began work on Silence with Ranbir Kapoor, the film has been in the news. The latest buzz that surrounds the project is that Anurag has zeroed in on Asin for the role that was originally sketched for Katrina. Apparently, there were talks with Deepika Padukone too, but the deal failed to materialize.
“Deepika demanded an astronomical sum to be a part of the film. Anurag had no choice but to look for other options,” reveals a source. It may be known that Katrina was gung ho about doing Anurag’s film but opted out once she learnt that Priyanka Chopra was part of the cast too.
