According to the buzz in the industry, Mallika Sherawat asked a jewellery brand for Rs 10 crore, when the officials approached her to sign up as their brand ambassador.
Mallika apparently believes that she has made a mark internationally over the past two years, having spent a lot of time in the US.The brand she endorses will benefit from that and so Mallika believes she is right in asking for a sum that will catapult her to the top of the brand endorsement charts.
Indications are that the jewellery brand is seriously considering her demands.
